"Di che pasta sei fatt*?" was an interactive workshop that engaged people in a creative printing experience centered around pasta, symbolizing human diversity.
The goal was to celebrate the beauty of each person's uniqueness, fostering mutual understanding and sensitivity towards others.
During the printing session, participants explored artisanal printing techniques, colors, and patterns, creating a unique and personalized bookmark that reflects their identity and characteristics.
The result was an editorial project, a collaboration among all the participants who have personalized their own pages of the book.
Pasta is a powerful metaphor to represent the beauty of diversity. From the same basic ingredients, countless different shapes and variations can emerge, just as the same pasta shape can contain completely different ingredients. So, we ask ourselves: why do we approach people differently, focusing on differences, discriminating, instead of appreciating the beauty of diversity?
Allegra Caputo and Federico Duò are two freelance designers who contribute to the creative scene in Piedmont.
The festival is a moment of creativity throughout the city and the perfect opportunity to raise awareness about inclusion. An original editorial product has been created, serving as the foundation for live experimentation with craft printing techniques.
By participating in the event, people contributed to the creation of a collective project, a result of collaboration among all the participants. The project is currently exhibited at MagazziniOz bookshop.
