What makes great art, a great design, a great logo?
— Phil Cleaver, What They Didn't Teach You in Design School
What makes great art, a great design, a great logo?
A designer should always consider the viewers and not him or herself when expressing their work. Our best foot forward is when we express on behalf of all rather than just seeking to show or bring recognition to the needy self.
Think humanity and you will think bigger than you can ever be on your own.
So think beyond and/or greater than your boss, your colleagues, your clients, for they too are all equally considered as you are when you express for the whole of who we truly are. A great creation must serve all, for if it does not, it is not as great as it is claimed to be.
